hit the lake again on the 25th, overcast weather but not too windy. got skunked this time. tried everything in my tackle box, just couldn't find them. but hey, that's fishing for ya!
took a chance on the 14th, it was pouring rain but I had my rain gear! managed to snag 2 nice walleye, one was about 5 lbs. used a jig with a leech. hard to fish but the thrill made it fun!
wow what a day! sunny skies on the 12th & the fish were biting like crazy. caught 10 bass, all on a green pumpkin worm. it was hot out but totally worth the sweat. feeling like a pro on the lake!
