Lilleys Landing Fishing Report

man, let me tell you about today at lilleys landing. so it was pouring out, like, torrential downpour kinda vibe and i almost didn’t go. but i figured, what the heck, right? got there around 6am, just as the sun was peeking out a lil bit. brought my trusty old spinning rod, 7' medium action, paired it with a 10lb braided line. hit the water just as the rain started coming down even harder. but hey, fish gotta eat too, right? after a couple of hours of casting jigs, i got a solid hit! pulled in a nice 5lb rainbow trout, pretty stoked about it. then a few casts later, another one! this time a bit smaller, like 3lbs. it was wild to fish in the rain, felt like i was in my own little adventure. had to leave by noon cause the rain just wouldn’t quit, but those two catches made my day! can't wait to go back when it's not raining crazy, lol. tight lines!
