light rain all day but I couldn’t resist going. managed to pull in 4 bass total, all around 2-3 lbs. worked some deeper areas with a spinnerbait and it paid off. feels good just being out there, even in the rain!
hit lake wylie early in the mist, it was eerie but cool! caught a few smaller bass, mostly in the 2lb range. just using a simple jig setup. wasn’t a lot of action but hey, it’s fishing, sometimes a chill day is what you need!
overcast skies and got on the lake early. that turned out to be a great decision! hooked a couple beastly bass, one went nearly 6lbs! used a bluegill pattern swimbait. felt amazing to be out there enjoying the cooler weather.
it was rainin again but I decided to hit the lake anyway. picked up a few bass between 2-3lbs on a texas rig. nothing crazy but I had some fun, the rain felt refreshing and the fish were biting just enough to keep me interested!
man today was rough, heavy rain all morning. caught only one bass but it was decent at 3.5lbs. was using a jerkbait and had to fish in the covered spots, but hey, one is better than none right? still out here enjoying nature.
