finally got a break from the rain! went out on lake wylie and it was overcast but felt warm. caught a mix of bass and bluegill. used a spinner and it was a success! can’t wait to go back again while the weather holds up.
another rainy day out on lake wylie, and surprisingly caught 3 nice crappie! water warmed up a bit and they were definitely active. used a little jig. loving this fishin life! ego boosted after today, for sure.
still raining hard today, but i went out anyways, lol. managed to snag 2 largemouths, about 4 lbs each. used a frog bait in the slop! my buddy said it wouldn’t work but he was wrong. felt good to catch something in these conditions!
ugh, what a wet day! went to lake wylie in heavy rain and it was a struggle. lost a few lures and only caught 1 tiny bass. rain just wouldn't let up. at least i had my rain gear, but dang it made for a tough outing!
overcast skies today but still had a decent time on the water. only caught a few perch...they were bitey tho. tried some jigs and worms. temp was a lil low but it was peaceful out there, just me and nature, ya know?
