another dreary day at lake winnie. still managed to catch a few smaller walleye, but the clouds did put a damper on things. used a crankbait, kinda slow but hey, a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work!
super cold and overcast today, not much action. I fished for a few hours but only got some bites, no luck. next time I’m bringin extra layers! the wind didn’t help either, ugh.
yikes, heavy rain again today. but managed to still nab a big ol’ catfish! it was slick with muddy water but I used a strong leader line and big bait. felt like a superman dragging that thing in, hah!
another sunny day! went out with my buddy, we were using worms and bobbers. caught a decent haul of bluegills, about 15 in total. couldn’t ask for a better day on the lake, always nice to be out fishing!
finally got a sunny day at lake winnie! oh man, it was beautiful out there. caught a nice 5 lb bass on a black and blue jig, right off the drop-off. felt great to be out after the rain, what a difference the sun makes!
