light rain today but still gave it a go. managed to pull in 4 smallmouths using some crankbaits. nothing too big but had fun with the rain, wasn't too cold either. great day overall!
wow, crazy storm hit today! I was out there when the thunder started rolling in. caught a nice 6lb bass before the deluge though! used a spinnerbait just before the wind picked up, but was soaked by the end, lol.
another sunny day on weatherford lake! went out with my buddy and we had a great time. brought in 10 bluegills on crickets and some worms. nice afternoon, the wind was just right too. gonna do this more often!
hit the water early this morning, what a gorgeous sunny day! caught a total of 7 bass, all on plastic worms. 4 of them over 4lbs, felt like i was livin the dream! just a perfect fishing day.
had a chill day out on the lake, overcast skies but no rain! caught one big bass, probably close to 5lbs, on a topwater popper. it was a fight to reel it in, felt so good! can't wait to do it again.
