Lake Walter F George Fishing Report

got out to the lake today and it was overcast, had a nice breeze. started off slow but finally found a good spot near the docks. threw a spinner, and bam! hooked a 6lb beauty! biggest catch this month. went home happy, those moments make it all worth it!

cloudy skies today, but the fish were biting! used a topwater frog in the early morning and got a nice response from the bass. landed a couple nice 3lb fish! even had a family of ducks swimming around, pretty peaceful. just feels good to be out here regardless of the weather.

patchy rain today but still decided to go out. caught 3 smaller bass and lost a big one at the boat! always the story huh? lol. used a texas rigged worm, they were hitting it pretty good. nice weather for a fishing trip, just love being out there even when it sprinkles.

so we hit the lake today and it was super cloudy but still warm. got a couple bites early but the wind picked up later, so had to switch to some heavier lures. snagged a decent bass about 4lbs on a chatterbait near the drop-offs. not a bad day overall, can’t complain!

today was pretty chill. overcast all day, temp felt real nice at 26. caught a couple spots in the morning with a crankbait in 10ft of water. biggest one was around 3.5lbs! didn’t see many other anglers out there, guess the clouds kept em away. but i’m loving this weather, it's perfect!
