Lake Wallenpaupack Fishing Report

another rainy day at the lake, but ya know what? the fish were biting! finally! managed 3 keeper trout despite the weather. used a light tackle setup with some powerbait. was soaked but had a blast! fish are stubborn but we got there in the end.

wallenpaupack is a mess today.... so cold and rainy, just 7 degrees! caught a few small ones but honestly it was brutal. my hands were numb lol. my rod setup was solid but the fish seemed to hide from the storm. next time let’s hope for better weather!

rainy day fishing was a bust for me. tried the same spot as yesterday but no bites at all. water was muddy and cold, maybe that's why? used jigs and worms but nothing. just a real chill day with my buddy, enjoyed the time tho even if the fish didn’t wanna play.

heavy rain today made fishing tough. went out anyway, had my rain gear on and was like whatever. threw some spinnerbaits around and actually managed to reel in a 6lb bass, kind of insane! could barely see but i was glad i went out. wet but worth it!

partly cloudy day... hit the water around 5:30, fished with my baitcaster and some crankbaits. caught a nice 2lb crappie and a couple of smaller ones. the wind was chill but manageable. couldn’t complain much. ended the day early but felt good to be out.
