another day at thurmond, had a couple buddies with me. we got soaked from the rain, but hey, that's fishin! managed to catch a few decent crappie while dodging raindrops. used minnow jigs, not the best day but still fun hangin with friends!
went back out to lake thurmond, crazy weather but the fish didn't mind! hooked into my pb bass today, went 7 lbs! used a plastic worm in the reeds. rain came and went but that just made the fish more active! so hyped!
fishing was on fire today! got on the water just after sunrise, fish were bitin like crazy. caught a couple nice stripers up to 6 lbs. used topwater lures, can't beat that surface action! even with the clouds, it was a great day out!
overcast day at thurmond so figured it was worth a shot! caught 3 bass, biggest was a solid 5lb! worked the banks with a buzzbait, they were hittin hard and fast. could feel the rain comin but it was a blast! so stoked about the catch.
today was a mixed bag on the lake, little rain n some wind made it tough. i had a few bites but only landed a small bass n a couple bluegills. used my favorite spinnerbait but they just weren't into it. still, nice day on the water!
