Passing up the small numbers of big Bluefin, targeting big variety! We departed today on our annual Hess 7 day charter. We are pointed south targeting Wahoo, Yellowtail, and Yellowfin tuna! The weather is great and the prime rib is Delicious. Will report tomorrow, Team Supreme

Polaris Supreme Trip Update 09-08-2019 What a sweet ride down we've had beautiful weather! Made good speed and had a nice early arrival this morning into the fishing grounds. Fishing started off tough. Actually it was brutal! You would catch and release 30 skipjack just to catch one keeper yellowfin tuna. We would catch a Wahoo here and there to spice things up but it just wasn't working. Finally after 10 hours of get in all jacked up, AKA skipjack, Things started going our way. It was like somebody flipped a switch! For the next four hours we had a very consistent bite on quality yellowfin tuna ,right into the dark. Our weather stayed great all day and were going to try our luck here again tomorrow. The Polaris Supreme Crew!

The San Diego out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego,CA checked in with us today:

After yesterday’s wind and rough seas things felt a bit churned up. We still saw the same amount of fish but only managed 2 yellowtail. We captured 85 reds 72 assorted rockfish while waiting for the conditions to change.

Capt Mike Pritchard called in from the Tribute on the second day of their trip, we have had very good fishing so far. Yesterday we had around 60 Yellowfin Tuna, 20 Yellowtail, 2 Bluefin Tuna in the 70 pound range, and 1 Dorado, today was more of the same with around 50 mixed fish so far and hopefully more to come. Today was a good day out here. We started our morning off with a few yellowfin strikes and at 8:30 we hit a good school of stock 25-30 pound bluefin, a few bigger and a few smaller with some yellowfin and dorado mixed in. We drifted with them for two and a half hours. For most the rest of the day we didn't drive for more then an hour before seeing something. We found a dab of 40-60 pound bluefin and landed one, we found another dab of 25-30 pounders and landed 10, we found a kelp for a handfull of yellowfin along with the occasional yf jig strike. An action packed day, just what we needed. Good weather for us today but the guys down below are complaining about rough weather. We're heading in now and Tommy Rothery is coming back out after a long land stretch and is taking the boat out for 8 days. I'm sure he's looking forward to getting out of the office and back on the water.

Captain Aliyar called in with us today from the Polaris Supreme with the first trip of the year scheduled for this Friday.

We have our first 1.5 Day departing on Friday, April 2nd at 6PM. We will be targeting Bluefin Tuna. So if you guys want to come out give us a call or check us out online.
