overcast day but that didn’t stop me! brought my son out and we caught quite a few bluegill. used some crickets, they were hitting them left and right! it was nice just to spend time together on the water, catch or no catch!
went back to sharpe today, light rain and patchy skies. surprisingly not too windy. only caught a small 12 inch bass but enjoyed the peace out there. sometimes it’s more about the chill vibes than the catch!
another rainy day at lake sharpe. wasn’t expecting much but ended up catching a couple of decent catfish! used some stink bait and they went for it. water was murky, but the bites were there. a messy but fun day!
today was a bit chilly, but we braved the partly cloudy skies. caught a few nice trout near the shore using a light spinning rod with worms. at least the wind wasn't too bad. it felt so nice to be out on the water!
what a crazy day! went fishing in that heavy rain today, thought it was a bad idea but the fish were biting! got soaked but hooked a few nice bass. they loved the dark colored crankbait, think they got hungry with all the rain. who would've guessed rain could be good for fishing?
