May 25th was gnarly! heavy showers, but I caught a nice 6lb catfish! fished later in the evening when it slowed down. used a simple sinker rig. felt like a warrior battling the elements, but hey, the fish do bite in the rain! great day!
fished on May 22nd, cloudy but nice weather overall. got a 5lb bass using a plastic worm. they were hanging out near the dock areas. can't wait to go again! feelin' lucky, might hit it up next weekend too.
May 19th was kinda chill, went out for a few hours, just a bit of patchy rain. landed a nice 3lb bluegill with a worm under a bobber. just me and nature, that’s all I needed. the calm after the rain was beautiful!
heavy rain on May 17th, but had an awesome time! I caught 2 solid 4lb largemouths on a buzzbait early in the morning before the storm rolled in. wind was crazy too! felt like I was battling nature and fish at the same time!
May 13th was a washout! but somehow, I managed to catch a decent channel cat around 5lbs. was using a basic chicken liver setup. rain slowed me down but the fish were hungry! better than sitting at home.
