hit up lake proctor today, felt like a sauna! caught some decent bluegills, they were really active. the patchy rain didn’t bother me much, just kept casting till i started getting bites. used a small jig and kept reeling them in. good vibes all around!
back at lake proctor again, overcast but great for fishing! hooked onto a 7lb catfish, biggest one yet! used some chicken liver for bait, they can't resist it. the wind was light and it was quite peaceful, can’t get enough of this place. always an adventure!

today was just perfect at lake proctor! caught a nice 5lb bass, it was a fight for sure. sunny skies made for enjoyable fishing, used a yellow crankbait that had been sittin in my tackle box forever. felt great to finally put it to use! can't wait to go back!
man what a wet day at lake proctor! pouring rain didn't stop us from casting out lines. we got a few small bass but most were just playing with the bait. we stayed under the big tree to avoid the downpour, but still, it was a good time with friends, sometimes you just gotta embrace the rain!
