Lake Poinsett Sd Fishing Report

useless fog today at the lake! couldn't see much at all but still managed to catch a solid 4lb walleye. worked my way around the edges with a crankbait and it paid off. fog may suck but i still love the thrill!

man it poured today! not ideal for fishing, but took my chances. got totally soaked but snagged a couple bass during the rain. used a topwater frog lure, had some good strikes! even in the rain, it was a blast.

cloudy and cold, but still went out to try my luck. didn’t catch much, just a few trout, but they were fun to reel in. wind was a bit much and my hands got cold. used a spinner, think I need to change my strategy for next time.

tough day today, super overcast and chilly. only managed to catch a few small bass, around 1lb. felt kinda off, maybe the weather? used some soft plastics, but nothing seemed to do the trick. better luck next time!

fishing was on fire at lake poinsett today, caught a ton of perch, like 30 or so! all about 1-2lbs, kept a few for dinner. had my trusty old spinning rod with 6lb test line, perfect for the job. just a great sunny day!
