we got hit with some serious rain and thunder today, but man, it was worth it! landed a couple of big catfish, loved the thrill. gear held up great even with the downpour, can’t let weather ruin a fishing day! stayed out til sunset, what a rush.
fishing again today, had some patchy rain but it cleared up later. caught 3 good ones using a crankbait! biggest was over 5 lbs, what a fight! water was pretty warm but they were still hungry. even got to see a double rainbow after the rain!
what a beautiful day at the lake! overcast skies but warm temps, perfect for fishing. hit the water with my buddy and we bagged 5 nice spotted bass. caught them on topwater lures early in the morning, they were super aggressive! great way to spend a Saturday.
ugh, the rain won today. i was so pumped to fish but it poured all morning. didn’t catch a thing. even the catfish weren’t biting, can’t believe it. went home soaked but hey, at least i had my new rain jacket to keep me company, lol. really hope the next trip is better!
man, it rained hard today, but we still pushed through! almost got soaked, lol. managed to get 2 nice largemouths, about 4 lbs each, using a chatterbait. they were hiding near the fallen trees. had a blast even tho the weather was kinda rough. love fishing in the rain!
