Hello everyone, Today we had our sights set on better grade Yellowtail. We had to do some prospecting and searching around the Baja coast. We managed to tag some great quality Yellows in the mid 20 lb class. Great grade fish but we would have liked more of them. We will be trying again tomorrow up the coast. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

Thursday, June 14th, 2012

Good evening, friends. One more day. Just one more day of boatwork and we will be setting sail on our first voyage of the 2012 season. Today was a successful day as the revamped air conditioning unit was finally completed and she's running quite smooth if I must say so myself. Other than loading some dry groceries and other supplies, we did some more cleaning and organizing and I can honestly say that tomorrow everything will be clean and stowed away. For now, we're all enjoying our last couple of days with our families and living the "land life" but at the same time, we're all anxiously awaiting a shot at some of those gorgeous Bluefin tuna, Yellowtail and anything else that we can locate.

So that's all that is going on with us. Just putting the finishing touches on our boatwork and transforming the boat into a fishing machine. Thanks for checking in.

The Tribute out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego, CA checked in with us today.

Very good fishing today on a variety of species, 104 yellowtail, 115 skipjack, 9 yellowfin, and 7 Dorado for our 23 anglers. Looking light throughout next week, book a spot and get in on this fun fall fishing! Little hectic today couldn't get many pictures, but got one good shot of a decent sized Dorado.

YELLOWTAIL ARE BITING!!! SAN DIEGO on a 3/4 day trip scored 48 yellowtail along with 41 Sand Bass,18 Barracuda & 2 Calico. PACIFIC VOYAGER from a 2-day trip sacked 131 Yellowtail, 17 Sand Bass & 15 Barracuda. NEW SEAFORTH on half day trips took in 7 Yellowtail, 123 Baracuda, 3 Halibut along with some Bass, Sculpin & Rockfish. Twilight trips still getting some giant Squids. Captain Ryan Bostian called in last night. We just got in from our Coronado Islands Yellowtail trip. We had limits of Yellowtail for our group today. There are a few different schools of fish. Most the fish are 10 to 15 pounds. The fishing was very good today. YoYo jig and drop loop was hot. In the afternoon the surface fishing picked up. The San Diego is online everyday. Captain Ryan Bostian called in today after 2 PM with an update from the San Diego. Today is my day off and Cameron is running the boat. We are up to 80 Yellowtail. We are having light loads even though the fishing has been great. Most of the fish medium grade with fish up to 25 pounds too!

Still plenty of room on tonight’s limited load 1 day trip aboard the Tribute. Trip is $230 and will be fishing for Bluefin, Yellowfin and Yellowtail. Make sure to bring gear from 25-80 pound, assorted fluorocarbon, jugs and sinkers.

April 10, 2024 lake oroville Fishing Report

Hey everybody the voyager is running a open party 2 day trip this up coming weekend!

The season is still very much here and the fishing is excellent on Dorado, Yelllowfin, Bluefin, and yellowtail!! This may very well be the Voyager's last offshore adventure before it begins it's rock cod season. The ticket cost is $425 and this includes permit and bunk. We are limited load to only 16 passengers so please act quickly. Day 2 will be spent offshore as well, the fishing at the dumper has been exceptional for the BFT's!! And the better grade yellows!! 12-25lbs
