overcast again but I was determined! went with some friends, caught a few smallmouth bass, nothing big but they were fun to reel in. used jerkbaits, worked pretty well actually. just love the time spent out there, rain or shine.
went out on a partly cloudy day, a bit chilly but manageable. caught a nice limit of bluegill, all around 8 inches using a fly rod! made for a fun afternoon, couldn’t ask for more. had my buddy with me, we had a blast!
fished on an overcast day, didn’t expect much. surprised myself with a few decent perch, like 10-11 inches. they were biting on nightcrawlers. the weather was kinda blah but a good day on the water is never truly wasted.
OMG today was amazing! sunny and warm, I just couldn’t resist going out. I caught this monster 7 lb walleye! used a live minnow on a bobber, it was epic. even saw a bald eagle swoop down while I was reeling it in. best day ever!
heavy rain today... but I still braved the elements. only got a couple small bass, like 1-2 lbs each. used my favorite topwater lure, but they just weren’t biting like I hoped. took cover a few times under the trees, but hey, that’s fishing!
