hit the lake again on the 19th, still feelin good! weather was nice, patchy rain here and there. ended up catching a lot of smaller panfish using worms. nothing big but that’s fun too. the wind picked up a bit, but it just added to the adventure! always love my time out here.
went out on the 16th and the weather was perfect! overcast but nice and warm. i got a few nice fish today, even a 5lb bass! used a crankbait, red color. they were hitting pretty good! felt like i was in the zone! really enjoyed that day, just peaceful out on the water.
fishing on may 15th was awesome! temp was warm, around 25 degrees. caught a chunky 6lb largemouth! used a buzzbait, got him right at dawn. loved the excitement of the strike! had a couple of smaller ones too. had a blast despite the occasional drizzle. can’t wait to go back!
back at lake okhissa on the 13th, another rainy day! but surprisingly, the fish were biting! got 5 smallmouths, all around 2lbs. used a green pumpkin soft plastic worm, those worked like magic! even tho it was cloudy, the fish were super active, so that made up for the rain!
what a day on the 9th! it rained like crazy but i still managed to get a few bites. used a topwater lure but ended up catching 3 small bass. they were not very active with all the rain. felt kinda frustrating but hey, that’s fishing for ya. went home soaked but happy!
