went fishing in the rain today at oh ivie, crazy weather but surprisingly good! managed to hook a few while it poured, including a nice 11 lb catfish! put up a solid fight. definitely an adventure out there with the wind! worth it!
sunny again, hit the water early this morning. brought my dad along, we had a blast! caught a few nice ones, biggest was about 9 lbs. used a spinner rig and they were hitting it like crazy! nothing beats fishing with family, y’know?
beautiful sunny day out on the lake! temp was a perfect 22.4°C, i tried out my new baitcast reel and it was smooth sailing. snagged a nice 7 lb large mouth. sun felt great and the bites were steady! love days like this.
hit lake oh ivie again! crazy weather today, overcast and warm. caught a bunch of smaller bass but the highlight was this 10 lb monster! used a topwater frog early in the morn, just epic! the adrenaline was unreal, can’t believe I landed it!
went back to the lake yesterday, it was overcast again. brought my buddy this time and we hit the northern cove. hooked into a couple more bass, one was a whopping 6 lbs! used my favorite bluegill imitation lure and it worked wonders, we were high-fiving like mad!
