today wasn’t great but I love the lake so much! caught one decent salmon, a lil over 4 lbs, but the rain kept coming. used a new lure I wanted to try, and it actually did something. hoping for better luck next time, still had fun tho!
overcast skies did not help much, but I did manage to pull in 2 small salmon, about 2 lbs each. used a variety of lures but nothing really worked. it was so chilly, I could barely feel my fingers! but still had a nice time being out on the lake.
man, what a cold day! didn’t expect it to be this chilly in May. fished for a few hours, but only got nibbles. was using a spinner, but nothing big. tried to stay warm but it was tough with that wind! might wait for warmer days.
today was rough! it rained a lot, and the wind was crazy strong! only caught one salmon, 4 lbs, and it was a struggle. had to hide behind some rocks just to keep the boat steady. but hey, it's fishing, some days are better than others.
hit the lake today, was kinda iffy with patchy rain but managed to catch 2 salmon! they were smaller, around 3 lbs each, but still fun. tried using a crankbait, felt like i had a good technique goin on. overall, good time in the rain!
