got out this morning, was spitting rain but i was not gonna miss a chance. caught a whopper, 8 lbs striper! used some cut bait today. the bite was on in the early hours, def coming back again when the weather clears!
yesterday was a washout, but i hit the lake anyway. caught 2 nice ones but was soaked! striper were active in the rain, bet they were hungry! used a popper which landed me one 5 lb. striper. fun day, wet but fun!
man, today was wet! heavy rain shower hit us hard. still caught one striper, about 3 lbs. couldn’t stay too long. used old trusty topwater lure, they were still biting even in this rain. gotta love a good challenge!
fished for a few hours this afternoon, weather was all over the place but i got lucky! managed to reel in 2 nice strips, around 6 lbs each. used a spoon, worked like a charm in the rain! love lake norman.
hit the lake bright and early today, man was it sunny! caught 5 stripers, biggest was like 7 lbs! used my new spinning reel with some crankbaits. they were schooled up in the coves, had a blast. headed back out tomorrow!
