brr, it was cold today but I braved it out! only ended up with 2 tiny trout but it was nice just being on the lake again. i brought my new fishing rod and it felt good to finally use it. hopefully next time i catch something bigger! 🤞
a bit windy today but had an awesome catch! landed a few steelhead, they were fighting hard. used a light tackle setup which made it a blast to reel them in. the overcast sky was actually great for fishing, who knew? can’t wait to go again!
wow today was beautiful! finally got some sunshine and the fish were on! caught a couple of huge pike, about 10 lbs each! used a crankbait and they were smashing it. even saw some dolphins swim by, made the day even better! just love this time of year.
this week was kinda dull, overcast again but tried my luck. managed some small bass. weather was decent tho, and I was with friends so we had fun. used a jig and some worms. still good to be out there near the water. can’t complain too much!
fished the shore in the overcast today, bit chilly so didn’t expect much but I got lucky! pulled in a few perch that were decent size. not the best trip but hey, any fish is a good fish. had my favorite bobber rig, those little guys love it.
