fished in Sheboygan this morning, but it was chilly and cloudy. only managed a few bites, ended up with a couple small perch. tried different lures but nothing was working. gonna wait for the weather to warm up a bit more. still nice to be out, though!
we went fishing today, and it was a bit of a mixed bag. some rain but not too heavy. caught a couple of decent pike and a nice walleye! used live bait and had some fun. definitely gonna try this spot again soon, maybe when it's sunnier!
hit the lake again today, pretty warm out! got a decent haul, mostly bass. used a topwater frog, and they were smashing it! saw some other boats have success too. will definitely be back. the action was nonstop while the rain held off.
had a wild day! went out in the heavy rain today, honestly thought we wouldn't catch much. but guess what? I pulled a 6 lb rainbow trout right off the bat! used my favorite spinners. after that, it was real hit or miss, but the excitement kept us going. what a ride!
nice day on the lake last Friday! fished near the break wall and caught some smallies, biggest was about 4 lbs. water temp was cooler, but the sun peeked out. used a jerkbait, and they were hitting pretty good! all in all, a great time. met some other cool anglers too!
