took a trip back to lake lopez with the fam, it was still foggy and cool. used worms for bait and caught a few decent-sized catfish. nothing too crazy but just spending time together was the real catch! such a great way to unwind!
fished from the shore today, misty and cool weather but that didn’t stop me! managed to pull in a nice 2lb trout on a spinner. it got really foggy but it made it kinda cool. just chilling by the lake was what I needed. vibes were strong!
took the kayak out today, conditions were perfect! weather was nice, and i caught a bunch of bluegill! used my fly rod with some popping bugs and man, they were hungry. had a blast out there, just me and nature. highly recommend it! even saw some turtles!
alright, today was a mixed bag. went out and tried some early morning fishing, partly cloudy. caught a couple small snapper but lost a big one that got away! stupid weeds! using a bobber rig. not too bad tho, still a nice day on the water.
yo! so today was the first time i tried fishing at lake lopez. partly cloudy and pretty warm. hooked onto a 4lb catfish using a garlic scent dough ball! made my day! had some fun casting by the cove, definite coming back. my new fav spot!
