today was a bit tough - overcast skies and still not much biting. only got one little bass, but i did enjoy the serenity of being out there alone. tried a few different lures but nothing seemed to work, just one of those days i guess.
hit the lake early this morning, light showers on and off but i couldn't resist. got a 4lb bass on a popper, pretty stoked! water was cooling down a bit, and it felt like they were more active today, throwin' the cast out there was fun!
decided to brave the patchy rain today with some buddies. fishing was decent! caught a couple of 3lb bass using some topwater lures, they were biting pretty good by the leeward shore. sunny breaks made for a nice day overall!
soooo much rain today! but i still went out for a few hours, got completely drenched. only caught one tiny bass, but it felt good to be out, you know? probably gonna take a break until the weather clears up a bit. this rain is relentless!
man, today was a wet one! managed to sneak in a few casts between downpours, got one decent 3lb bass but that was it. the wind was crazy too, made it hard to keep the boat steady. i swear the fish were just chillin' somewhere else.
