light rain today but still headed out, ended up doing okay. caught a couple nice sunfish and lost a big one at the boat. used a spinner rod, felt great to be on the water despite the drizzle. better than sitting at home, right!
it rained on and off today but we braved it! i caught a huge 5lb catfish using stink bait. such a fight! my boyfriend was jealous since he only caught a 1lb one lol. still, great time fishing in the rain, surprisingly peaceful
overcast but still warm. was out with the buddies, spent the day casting near the rocks. caught a few bream, nothing huge but a lot of bites! it was great hanging out and just enjoying the water. we even grilled some of what we caught, yum!
what a beautiful sunny day! i brought the kayak out on lake jackson. managed to reel in 3 solid bass, around 2-3lbs each. used a popper and they were hitting hard! felt so good just paddling around soaking in the sun. best day ever!
cloudy today, we were out for a few hours, no bites til the last spot. finally caught a small 2lb catfish! used a worm on the bottom. not the best day but hey, at least i got my line wet. also, managed to enjoy some peace and quiet.
