man, what a day! had some thunder rumblings but still went fishing. hooked into a huge striper, probably around 8lbs! caught it on a topwater popper right before the rain hit. felt like a movie moment, haha, loved the thrill!
finally a sunny day! went out to lake hefner and got 5 nice catfish, all around 4 lbs! used stink bait on the bottom and it worked like a charm. felt like summer, sitting in the sun and catching fish – bliss!
fishing was tough today, overcast skies and kinda chilly. i did manage to land a decent 3lb largemouth on a spinnerbait tho. felt good to reel in something! other guys around me didn’t have much luck, but hey, at least it's not raining.
kinda drizzly and windy but kept at it! got 2 nice bluegill around 1lb each. used a bobber with some worms, those little guys love it! also, got soaked but it's all good! made me feel alive, haha.
well that was a wet one! solid downpour out there today. i went home empty-handed. the fish were not in the mood at all. tried everything – spinners, worms, even swimbaits. did see some folks packin' up tho. maybe next time!
