fished under overcast skies today, caught a few nice fish. landed a 3lb trout and a couple smaller ones. using my trusty old crankbait, they were biting! can't believe how beautiful the lake is even when gloomy. good vibes!
it was pouring rain today! i ended up catching a nice 6lb bass, too bad it was a struggle. my gear got soaked! used a spinnerbait. was nice to get that big one before heading back. all in all, not a bad trip despite the weather.
went fishing today, little bit of rain but not too bad! caught a couple of nice perch, threw them back tho. used a bobber setup with worms. nice chill day on the lake. ended up meeting some cool folks too!
finally got a sunny day, yay! went out early, caught 5 largemouths, all between 2-3lbs! used a popper and they were so aggressive. felt great to be out there watching the sunrise and seeing the bass jump. best day in weeks!
wow it was a tough day out there! heavy rain all morning. I only caught 1 trout, and it was barely a keeper. didn't have much luck. guess the fish were hiding or something. try again next time, right?
