5/27 - overcast again but the bite was hot! caught 4 smallies, 3-4 lbs each. just casting off the ledges with some weightless senkos. wind was up a bit but made it exciting. can't wait to go back!
5/21 - omg the rain was crazy today! but we braved it and landed a couple smallmouths near the docks. used a white chatterbait, they seemed to love it even with the storm. my buddy lost a huge one tho, we were bummed!
5/15 - hit the lake again, rain was on and off all day. caught 2 nice ones about 3 lbs each, but they were hard to find. switched to spinnerbaits and that did the trick. weather was warm, too, felt like summer finally!
5/10 - man what a day! caught a 5 lb smallmouth just before noon. overcast and calm winds helped. was using a green pumpkin worm. the bite was super aggressive! couldn't ask for a better morning!
5/7 - overcast skies and decent temp, so I hit lake erie early. got a couple small ones around 2 lbs with a drop shot rig. they were hanging out in deeper water. tough fight but worth it overall. felt good to be out there.
