headed out on the lake this morning, bit foggy but we found them! managed to bring home 20 perch, some great size too, around 10-11 inches. just kept it simple with small jigs and minnows. the fog made it look pretty eerie out there but the fishing made it all worth it!
went fishing on the 16th, and wow, the weather was crazy with patchy rain! but seriously, the perch were so hungry. caught close to 60! biggest was about 12 inches. used a bobber setup with minnows. even with some strong winds it turned out to be a fantastic day! love lake erie!
whew, what a day! the rain was a bit much at times but we toughed it out and caught about 50 perch! most were nice keepers, 10-12 inches. tried a mix of jigs and live bait, but the live bait really seemed to work better. got soaked but worth it for the smiles on everyone’s faces!
fishing was on fire! went out on the 14th, had some patchy rain but it didn’t stop us! we got a nice haul of 35 perch, all around 9-11 inches. used a bright yellow jig, they were really loving it. had a few moments where they were just biting like crazy, def a great trip with the fam!
was out on the central basin yesterday, overcast skies and perfect fishing weather! caught around 40 perch, all around 10 inches. used some drop shot rigs with minnows and had non-stop action for hours! the fish were really active, even caught a couple doubles! can't wait to go back soon!
