super foggy day on the 28th! it was kinda eerie but cool. not much biting, just a few tiny perch. had my 7ft rod and some spinners but they were just not in the mood. enjoyed the peacefulness tho, sometimes you just gotta soak it all in.
not gonna lie, went out on the 27th in some serious rain and lightning! not the smartest move but landed a nice 6lb bass right as the thunder rolled in! packed up and got outta there quick tho. will def remember that day!
rain rain go away! fished the lake on the 26th through the heavy downpour. it was wild! caught one decent catfish that weighed about 5lbs, on my crappie rig, believe it or not 😅. i was soaked but it felt amazing out there. can’t beat the thrill of it all!
man, we hit the lake on the 25th thought there would be a storm for sure, but it held off! used topwater lures for the first time and they went nuts! caught a couple solid 4lb bass. adrenaline was pumping! winds picked up near sunset tho, so we called it a day. definitely gonna try that again!
hit the lake on the 10th, it was a bit cooler than expected. only caught a few small bass - like 1-2lbs max. wandered around with my crankbait but was kinda slow.. couldn’t find em in the usual spots. but hey, better than work lol. still had a great time with my buddy.
