cloudy skies and breezy conditions at lake desmet. not the best day but i did manage to catch a couple of smallmouth, around 1-1.5lbs. used a spook lure which surprisingly worked even with the wind! feeling proud of my little catch.
another rainy day at desmet, but i gave it a go. caught 2 nice channel cats on cut bait. wind wasn't too bad but the rain makes it tricky. didn't stay long, but got enough action to keep me happy. love the thrill of the catch!
hit the lake during overcast weather. it was kinda windy but i stuck with it. found a nice spot by the cove and caught 5 nice crappies! used a small jigs, they were biting good today. always love fishing in these conditions, so peaceful.
yikes, it was cold and rainy at lake desmet today. temp dropped to 4.9°C and i didn't catch much. only managed to reel in 1 small bass. not my best trip, but hey, that’s fishing for ya! packed it in early.
day was a washout at desmet, heavy rain the whole time. but i still went out with my rain gear. caught a couple of bass on a frog lure, they seemed to like it despite the weather. water was pretty muddy, but it was still nice to be on the lake.
