went to the lake again and saw some thundery clouds rollin’ in. managed to snag a few channel cat on shrimp. pretty stoked about that! we fished till dusk and watched the storm dance on the horizon, it was epic. just love this lake and the surprises it brings!
went fishing with my buddy and omg it was super muggy! we got on the water just before sunset. caught 3 solid bass, they loved the crankbaits today. honestly, even though it was kinda sticky and humid it felt nice being out there. can't wait to go again!
fished again today, kinda overcast but warm. caught a couple of nice size bluegills on a fly rod. they were hittin' pretty good on poppers. had a blast, the wind picked up but it didn’t bother me much. gotta love that lake arthur life! reminds me how much i miss this place.
hit the lake with my dad yesterday, it was overcast but super warm. caught 5 largemouths between 2-4 lbs! used a green pumpkin worm on a texas rig. they were super active. we had a great day just soaking up the vibes and eatin’ packed lunch on the boat.
another rainy day on lake arthur. couldn’t do much fishin’ because of the downpour but we waited it out. finally got a break and hooked 2 bass! one was about 2 lbs. used a black buzzbait when the rain slowed down. had to keep switching spots, but it was worth it.
