finally got a clear day after all the rain! went fishing and landed 15 crappie! they were biting early morning near the drop-offs. used a slip bobber with live bait, the action was on fire! felt like a pro today! couldn't have asked for better conditions.
patchy rain again today, but went out anyway. using a new lure, a white/chartreuse combo, and it did the trick! caught 11 crappie! they were all over the place in the shallows. felt great to get out again, weather didn’t stop the fun.
lawd it was heavy rain out there! but we braved the storm. found some crappie under a dock, ended up catching 4 before the weather got too crazy. not much, but decent size. gotta love allatoona, even in the rain. made sure to keep the fish safe before heading home!
went out today and what a slippery ride! rain was pretty steady and the wind made it tricky, but got 5 nice crappie! they were hiding in some brush piles. had to be patient, but caught two almost back-to-back. they were hungry! love the thrill of the chase.
man, what a messy day at the lake. it was pouring off and on but we stuck it out. used my favorite pink jigs, ended up with 6 crappie. not the best day but hey, a fish is a fish, right? wind picked up and it got kinda chilly. still, good to be out!
