man, what a day at lac suel! woke up early, around 5am, with the rain coming down. thought about bailing but decided to go anyway. water temp was chilly, like 14°C or so. took my trusty spinning rod with a few jigs, and guess what? landed a couple walleye, one was about 5 lbs! the rain kinda kept the crowds away, which was nice. also had a strong wind blowin but it felt good to be out there. fished till sunset around 9pm, just me and the fish. even got a few bites on a chartreuse jig that worked like a charm! can't wait to go back, even if the weather ain't perfect, still worth it for the peace and quiet.
