 We had another good day today.  Well, afternoon I should say.  Yesterday, we got here at 2:30 in the PM and the fish were biting right away.  I thought for sure if we were here earlier, it would be stellar.  Nope.  2:30 was just right.  We hung out here all day not seeing any yellers, then right at 2;30, they showed up and it was good fishing for the next few hours.  We set up a little differently today and it paid off.  The grade of fish improved.  It was 70% premiums.  That's right.  18-30+ pounders.  2nd fish hold down.  We're cooling down the center well now. 

 Due to the fantastic fishing we've experienced this trip thus far, we are in need of some bait.  We're headed out to what I think is our best chance at making some.  No ones been there as far as I know for quite some time.  It's been windy.  It looks like we have a good weather window so it shouldn't look like the Flemesh Cap.  We're also hoping to run into some bluefin tuna while out there.  We're not just going out there for bait.  We're looking for something to use it on.  Let's keep the ball rolling.

This morning we had a passenger who was having a medical problem and had to be airlifted off. We were lucky as Coast Guard was near by rescuing some people off a sailboat. So it was very quick and efficient. Last report is he is doing well. Fishing today was ok. We got some jig strikes for a handful of tuna above the island. In the afternoon we got the anchor down and continued to fish the tuna until a shark shut us down. So we moved to another spot that had good signs of tuna. But even though they were showing well they did not want to bite. The yellowtail however did bite and we got some big hombart yellowtail for about an hour and a half until the shark found us from the previous spot and shut us down again. So we tried to out smart him and swung back up to the original spot and got into some 20-55 pounders. Tomorrow we will be in a different area and should be fishing by 9:30 tomorrow morning. Our weather is ok. There was some wind going down, but not a bad ride. And it was beautiful calm in the lee of the island. Chef Rick is on board this trip and made a great roasted chicken with a garlic cream sauce, zucchini and rice. And dessert was Death by Chocolate. Really good. Thanks for checking in.

We spent the morning finishing rigging up everyone's gear for tomorrow. We arrived the days fishing grounds just after lunch and spent a little time looking around before finding a little nest of wahoo. We caught a handful and lost that many right away and thought "this is alright". That was the last of the wahoo we saw. All the small yellowtail you could ever want but that's not what we were in search of so we are now sliding down to be in the tuna grounds tomorrow. Wish us luck please.

It's time to start thinking about the summer fishing schedule. We have a couple of opportunities to offer if you want to jump on a trip. Polaris Supreme Report 7-26-2016 Today the weather flattened out and got comfortably warm. We started out by catching less of the little yellowtail that has been around in such force, and more quality fish. Although the baby yellows were not as big of a problem today, the sign is slowly disappearing here. Even so we still caught many quality yellows. It was very enjoyable catching the big fish and not having to weed through the small ones and Bonito like yesterday. In the early afternoon we decided to head offshore and start making our way up the line putting ourselves in position for fishing tomorrow. In our travels we found some kelps that kicked out a few more yellows as well as a beautiful Dorado. Looking forward to tomorrow, Team Supreme

Today we arrived to the grounds late. We were looking around for wahoo a little after noon. We only scraped up one Wahoo. However around 4pm we got the anchor down and started catching some great quality Tuna. 18-25lbs with the 30-40 lbers making a showing in the mix as well. Very clean tuna fishing here today. Hopefully we can get these Wahoo figured out tomorrow. Here we Have Bryan and Wai Hung Man showing off their quality tuna.
