finally had a sunny day on the 27th! perfect weather, about 16°C. hit the water early and got a bunch of nice bass on topwater lures. so exciting watching them strike! wind was light at 11km/h too, just perfect for casting! best day of the month!
overcast day on the 18th, not a lot of action. only got one small bass with a crankbait. the weather was chilly, temp around 7°C and wind was wild at 24km/h! still had some fun, but kinda wish it was sunnier. gotta keep trying!
went out on the 17th, and it was pretty rainy. we got soaked but managed to catch 3 trout! they were biting on worms near the deeper spots. wind was a bit strong (24km/h) though, made it tricky to cast. still a good time with the crew!
not the best day, light rain and kinda cold on the 13th. only managed a couple small perch. was using a bobber with worms, but fish just weren’t biting much! still, nice to be outdoors even with the cloudy skies. fingers crossed for better luck next time!
went to the lake again on the 8th, still sunny. caught a decent crappie and lost a bigger one near the weeds. had a 1/8 oz jig head and a gulp minnow, that did the trick! avg temp was around 13°C so it was pretty comfy out there. can’t wait for the next trip!
