so today was kinda drizzly but honestly, it was nice to be out on the water! we hit run-off creek just after sunrise around 4:02 am and the fish were biting! got 3 silver salmon, biggest was like 8 lbs, not too shabby. used my trusty 7' medium action rod with some 15 lb test line and a pink hootchie lure - they couldn't resist it! wind was chill but not too bad, just light at 7.6 km/h. we packed it in around 8 bc the rain picked up but man, what a morning! can't wait to go again when it clears up. tight lines!
