wrapped up a good trip on may 21st, weather was perfect, not too hot. hooked a solid 4 lb bass, felt like a mini fight! had my trusty baitcaster setup with a red crankbait and it worked wonders. gonna hit this spot again soon!
fished on the 19th, partly cloudy and much warmer—really nice day! landed 2 big bluegills on a topwater frog. it was epic watching them explode on the lure. we were out from sunrise and left around 2pm. always a blast!
decided to give june lake another shot on the 13th, it was overcast again. got skunked this time, but we had a good time just chillin. my buddy swears by using minnows but idk, might switch to spoons next time. the wind was strong tho.
may 11 was an awesome day! sun was out, caught 5 sunfish and a couple of nice crappies. used my lil’ ultralight and a bobber with worms. had a blast with friends. i love this place! we even grilled the catch later!
hit the lake on may 3rd, weather was overcast but the fish were biting! landed 4 good size trout using a fly rod, olive wooly bugger was the key. the wind was annoying but hey, that’s fishing! couldn’t ask for a better day.
