Captain Aliar from the Polaris Supreme checked in with this report today:

Good Morning just heading back from our trip. Good bite down there. caught 16 Bluefin btween 80-100 lbs. a 125 and 145 pounder also landed. Sold out the next couple trips, but have 1/2 day and 3 day trips in April and early June available call us at 619-706-3634.

Come fishing on our Seeker 1.5 day trip leaving tomorrow!

We have been landing some quality Bluefin Tuna. However they have been making us work for them. 

Brief windows of opportunity’s throughout the day are keeping everyone on their toes. Overall a tough day.

Hopefully they want to bite better soon!

Captain Ryan Bostian called in with an update regarding the Passports! We are going to be fishing offshore for Bluefin Tuna and Yellowtail. Mexican immigration has just informed us that every passenger will need a passport to fish the Coronado islands. Tomorrows trip will be an offshore US waters trip targeting bluefin and yellowtail. If you don't have a passport you should start the paperwork. If you plan on fishing in Mexican Territorial waters you will be required to have a passport. That means if you are at the Islands or within 12 miles of the Mexican Coast. Passports will not be required for Offshore Trips fishing more than 12 miles from the Mexican Coast. The San Diego will be fishing offshore for awhile until our passengers can get passports. However, we will eventually return to fishing at the Coronado Islands.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 08-05-2016 We finished up the trip nicely yesterday with great yellowtail and tuna fishing down below. It was pretty darn good! Unfortunately we have to travel all day today to get back to San Diego. As luck would have it though we have excellent weather traveling home! Thank you Henry Hampton for putting together another fun group of folks for four days of fishing. We will be in tomorrow morning at 6 AM to unload our catch and pick up a limited load of 20 passengers on Dan Ravta's annual five day trip! Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-10-2016 Well we didn't quite have the day were hoping for. But everybody had the chance to catch a couple fish throughout the day. And of course the guys had fun. Between what we caught yesterday and today I'll call this a Great trip. It was really nice to see a good grade of yellowfin tuna around San Diego! We will be heading into the dock and unloading our catch tomorrow morning at 7AM. Thank you Brad and Dan for bringing a group of great guys out for a couple days on the Polaris supreme, and we hope the business keeps doing well. We will be taking a few days off and doing some boat work, see you out for our eight day charter coming up in about seven days! Looking forward to get down south. You guys make sure you're down at the boat by 7 AM we want to leave early! The Polaris supreme crew!

Found what we were looking for, away from any other boats. Ended up with 4 Bluefin, #135 and the others all at #70 or so. Heck of a day!

Captain Mike Pritchard called in this with an audio wrap up from the Tribute out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay.

Today we finished with 71 Yellowfin Tuna, 8 Bluefin Tuna, a couple of Yellowtail and Dorado.

We are out on a 3.5 day charter tonight.
