great day at Jenks Lake! sunny and warm, I caught 4 bass, biggest was 6lbs! used a topwater frog in the morning, they were hitting it like crazy. saw some other anglers too, everyone was in high spirits. this lake never disappoints!
finally some sun today at Jenks! caught a couple of nice crappie, around 2lbs each. used a small jig and they were hungry! had a great time, weather was perfect. even saw a heron fishing! definitely coming back for more.
got skunked today at Jenks. super overcast and cold, perfect conditions but no bites! tried everything in my tackle box. even saw some guys pulling in fish tho, so maybe I was just off my game. still love the lake, will be back soon!
what a day at Jenks!! caught 5 big ones today! 3 were over 5lbs, all on live bait. the weather was warm, actually felt great. even had some little kids fishing near us, they were having a blast! I love this spot, can't wait to go back!
hit the lake this morng, was overcast but felt good. didn't catch much, just 1 small bass on a jighead. wind picked up too, so it made things tricky. still nice to be outdoors. we plan to try again next week!
