Capt Mike Pritchard called in from the Tribute to report fantastic Yellowfin Tuna for our 33 anglers, we have 240 fish on board and still fishing. We had over 150 Yellowfin on our first stop of the day, we have scheduled another trip for Monday night. You can called the landing at 619-224-3383 or go to www.seaforthlanding.com and sign up. Captain Ryan Bostian checked in at 12:56 PM with an update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay, CA. We have been fishing the Coronado Islands for the past few months. The water temps dropped significantly so we fished offshore today. Captain Cameron checked in at 11:15 with 35 Yellowtail. We are hoping the Bluefin make a showing. We are fishing offshore tomorrow too. Call Seaforth now and get in on the action.

                                             Clint Cambell started our morning hooking and landing a 70 pound yellowfin tuna on a PL 68, a few other tuna were hooked and lost due to the arrival of the tax man but don't worry that only put a very small dent into our morning plan, we went into search mode but this time we had plan B going for us, yummy flyers on the troll and we started to put a few nice grade tuna aboard with Paul Hess putting a 115 pounder on deck! We ended up scratching up a nice day of tuna and wahoo.

Stopped on a school of tuna large enough to catch 200 but unfortunately we hit them when they were off the bite. We managed to scratch 35 yellowfin on light line bait and poppers.

The Dolphin III has been purchased by Mike Pritchard a veteran captain with a vast amount of experience.   Captain Pritchard has recently worked on the Legend and prior to that spent time working on the the Intrepid and Excel. The Tribute has moved to it's new home at Seaforth Sportfishing were it will be the primary open party overnight boat.
Captain Pritchard has renamed the boat to honor his mentor Bill Poole.   The boat was previously owned by Bill Poole and will be a fine edition to the Seaforth Fleet.

Captain Ryan Bostian called in with an audio update from the San Diego out of Seaforth Sportfishing in Mission Bay, CA. Today we had excellent offshore fishing for Yellowtail. We ended the day with 131 Yellowtail and 1 Bonito. A 25 pound bait rod was doing the trick today. We did have some surface iron action too. Please be prepared with for the Bluefin Tuna. You will need a 30 pound bait rod for the small fish. But you should also have a heavier outfit fish fishing flat fall jigs.

Polaris Supreme Trip Report 09-07-2016 Hi Supreme fans, Well it seem like the bluefin tuna decided to sleep in this morning. But the squid didn't, Before the crack of dawn we had plenty of squid under our lights that we scooped up for our morning bite. But only one lone 25 pound yellowtail took our offerings. Chef Mike called "first call for lunch" and that's all it took for the bluefin tuna to bite! From lunch time until first call for dinner we had steady action of bluefin tuna from 60 to 80 pounds! Once again Gary Jones would battle one for well over 3 hours and defeat a 80 pound bluefin just before we call it a trip. What a way to end a great trip.We turned the boat towards San Diego with a outstanding catch of bluefin tuna chilling in our RSW!! The Supreme Team.
