Grindstone Lake Nm Fishing Report

came out to grindstone again, had a feeling the patchy rain wouldn't keep the fish away. managed to catch a nice 6 lb trout, using a silver spoon. the wind was wild today, made it tough but the thrill of that catch was worth it! can’t wait to go again.

partly cloudy today, but it didn't stop us! my partner caught a big catfish, probably 8 lbs on some stink bait we made. i only got 2 smaller ones, but hey, it was fun. wind picked up toward the end but we laughed it off. gonna try again soon for sure!

another day at grindstone, this time with some overcast. current was a bit strong but managed to land a sweet 5 lb trout on a spinner. felt good to be out again! had some snags with the wind but it was a chill day overall. made some nice memories!

sunny and warm today, finally! i went back to grindstone and hit the jackpot! caught a handful of crappie, all around 1-2 lbs, using jigs. they were hungry! such a nice day on the water, i could stay out here all week.

overcast day today at grindstone lake, fished from 7 am till noon. not much going on, just 1 small bass on a senko. temp was cool but i expected better. might stick to sunny days, the fish seem to love it when it’s bright out.
