hit grant lake again today, it started off rainy but cleared up a bit. caught two pike, one was like 6 lbs, super strong! used a spinnerbait and it was on fire. gotta love those days with some good action!
thought I’d beat the rain today at grant lake but it drizzled all morning. caught a decent 4 lb trout, was super happy with that! fished with a bobber and worms, pretty classic. love when they bite!
cloudy day out at the lake, not much action for us. tossed around some spoons and jigs but only got a few nibbles. shoulda known with this weather. gonna check out some new spots next time! still better than working tho!
went back to grant lake, it was a bit wet but still managed to catch a couple of nice ones. lost a big one tho 😤, no idea how it got off. few other folks around catching but nothing crazy. need to get better gear for those sharp hooks!
finally sunny day at grant lake! we were out there early, caught 5 sunny trout in just a few hours! used a fly rod and a little dry fly – they were hungry! it felt good to be out in the sun after all that rain
