got out to grand lake on May 27th, just had to make the most of the thundery vibes. caught a nice 5lb bass right before a storm hit, used a plastic worm. that adrenaline rush was unreal, man! got soaked but totally worth the thrill!
so I braved the rain again on May 26th. it was kinda nuts with the wind and rain, but I caught a nice bass, like 4.5lbs! used my go-to chatterbait, they seemed hungry even in the downpour. crazy day but so much fun fishing!
fished on May 23rd. Overcast again, just my jam! landed a couple smaller bass but had a few nice bites that got away. used wacky rigged senko, pretty sure they were just playing with me 😤 but still had fun with the crew!
May 18th was a washout, but hey, I still went fishing. It poured like mad, but I got lucky and snagged a big 6lb bass on a spinner rig near the flooded bushes! was soaked to the bone but totally worth it. the thrill kept me going.
went back to grand lake on May 10th with some buddies, overcast skies are def my favorite fishing weather! got two decent bass, around 3-4 lbs. used a crankbait, they were biting like crazy! had a blast joking around with the guys too.
