Fox Lake Wi Fishing Report

went back on may 27th, weather was finally on our side! overcast but not too cold. caught a handful of perch and they were biting on worms. set up a little camp and had a great time grilling them up right there! nothing beats fresh fish, right? just a perfect day.

may 21st was a washout! heavy rain all day. we braved the weather but ended up with nada. just a couple of nibbles and that was it. my rain gear was put to the test, but I guess that’s fishing. kinda bummed but we’ll take on the lake again soon!

hit the lake on may 19th, weather was still overcast and cold. didn’t catch much, just one small walleye but hey, any fishing is good fishing. tried some new lures but they didn’t seem to be interested. gonna keep trying, maybe next time! peace!

so we went out on may 17th despite the rain predictions, caught some nice crappie just before the storms rolled in. used my trusty old spinning reel and white jigs, worked like a charm! really gotta love those surprise catches, even if we got soaked 😂. great day overall!

fished on may 4th and OMG it was so chilly! only got 1 bass, but it was a solid 4 lbs! threw a jig around the reeds and it finally hit. didn't see much action tho, water was still cold. wind picked up too, made it tough to cast! but hey, a fish is a fish right? cheers!
