May 18 - another rainy day, fished for a few hours and got soaked, but pulled out a couple of nice pike. they were biting today despite the weather! used a crankbait and it paid off big time. bring on the next trip!
May 15 - did i mention i love fishing in the rain? haha! hit the lake today and it was pouring. didn't catch much, lost a couple good ones. but hey, it was an adventure! sometimes those are the best days, right?
May 13 - weather was a bit sketchy, patches of rain kept coming through. managed to catch a nice smallmouth bass, 4 lbs, while dodging raindrops lol. it was worth it in the end, had a fun time even with the wetness!
May 9 - awesome day fishing! weather finally warmed up a bit, even if it was still cloudy. caught a nice 8 lb walleye on a slip bobber setup with leeches! had a few good bites, almost lost one right at the boat!
May 7 - back at it again at Fort Peck, wow it was a slow day. cloudy skies made things feel dead and only managed to pick up a few small perch. still, some fresh air and company made it worthwhile. maybe next time!
