February 21, 2025 flagstaff Fishing Report

Good morning everyone, We got a great early start on our Simpatico five day trip. Our intentions were to have an opportunity to catch some of these larger local Bluefin Tuna. However the action slowed and it did not pencil out as we hoped. There is some pretty bad weather rolling up today and is supposed to be here tomorrow. We are probably going to try some inshore fishing somewhere tomorrow to stay clear of the weather and pull on some fish at the same time. Wish us luck, Team Supreme

February 20, 2025 flagstaff Fishing Report

Hey guys, after two weeks of fishing for yellowtail in U.S. waters, we have now decided to head back down to the Coronado Islands. We have still been seeing plenty of yellows in the local waters but they just have not got with it like we wanted them to. Yellowtail have been spotted from the rockpile to Catalina island over the past week. I honestly feel that the Coronado Islands is going to be our best bet at finding some yellowtail that want to bite well. Our first trip to the islands is tomorrow, Friday 27th. 1 bluefin tuna 97 yellowtail. The consistency of the Coronado Islands this year is truly amazing. Bait, yo yo and surface iron are all producing.

     Fishing on tuna started off good this morning and stayed that way till 11:00. Most of our catch came from one stop. From then on we where on the move to change our scenery. Weather is great and we can't wait to check out the sun coming up in a different place in the morning.

Polaris Supreme Trip Update 10-01-2018

We had a great day of Wahoo fishing! We woke this morning to choppy weather.  After telling the passengers that Wahoo don't like rough weather, we proceeded to have our best day so far on Wahoo.  Tom who had been trying for 40 years to catch one caught two!  And then there was at the guys who have never got one before that also ended up with a couple. Whether looks like it is going to be nice tomorrow in the yellowtail grounds.

Today we saw incredible sign of 25-40 bluefin tuna. Make sure you bring a 25 lb bait rod to go along with your 40,50 and 60 lb rod.
