Hello everyone,

today we finished up fishing for these big blue fin tuna. It was an amazing finish. Everyone on the boat landed a fish 130 pounds or bigger up to 220. Incredible fishing for these big blue fin and enough to go around for everyone we will be in the dock tomorrow to get a final weight on these things.

Still plenty of room on tonight’s limited load 1 day trip aboard the Tribute. Trip is $230 and will be fishing for Bluefin, Yellowfin and Yellowtail. Make sure to bring gear from 25-80 pound, assorted fluorocarbon, jugs and sinkers.

The San Diego checked in with this today:

2 yellowtail and all the bottom grabbers you could want. Water conditions seem to be improving but the south wind we’ve dealt with the last couple days have made things interesting.

"Coast Guard inspections so we are ready to go fishing!" wrote owner-skipper Tom Rothery June 1. Memorial Day weekend started off the season with the first albacore being caught (since January) and a couple of bluefin also. That has all of us on the boat excited as well as most of you. Water conditions look spectacular for the season and we hope to have some water charts on the web site soon for you to view. We are also pleased to pass on the fact that the Guadalupe permits have been granted for the next two years. I know a lot of you are looking forward to fishing there. We have our schedule on line for you to look at. Prices are the same as last year and as of right now there is no fuel surcharge. So let's hope the cost stays down. Hello Everyone, Today spent the morning catching some great premium Yellowtail with some Bluefin mixed in. The second half of the day was spent searching for larger grade Bluefin Tuna. We eventually found an area of larger fish. Ranging in size from 50-130lbs. We managed to land 2 in the 60 lb class. Nice to see that there are still larger ones around.
