hit the river today, despite the misty weather it was pretty chill. got on the water around 6am after sunrise, using my trusty old spinning rod with a white jig. man, those smallies were hungry! caught 5 in total, biggest was maybe 4 lbs. they were cruising near the rocks. wind picked up a bit after noon, but it felt good. it was a bit damp but honestly, I kinda loved it. feels like the fish were more active with the cool temp. headed back home around 2pm, but not before stopping for some burgers on the way. best day in a while, can’t wait to go again!
